National Conference Overview on new criminal laws

National Conference on the Overview of India’s New Criminal Laws was successfully conducted by Nidaan Legal Aid Forum in association with DY Patil School of Law, Nerul. The conference brought together distinguished legal minds, academicians, and practitioners to discuss the transformative changes introduced through the new criminal law framework.

The programme was inaugurated by IPS Vishwas Nangre Patil, Addl. Director General, Anti‑Corruption Bureau, Maharashtra. In his address, he highlighted the significance of modernising criminal jurisprudence to meet contemporary societal needs and emphasised the role of legal institutions in ensuring smooth implementation of the new laws.

Throughout the sessions, learned speakers presented insightful perspectives on the structural, procedural, and constitutional dimensions of the new criminal legislation.
